"Story" wise this game has none, which is fine because its not really oriented to a single player/linear experience, think tournament/death match style.Earlier today, seemingly out nowhere, Valve announced Counter-Strike 2. I would call them more of a "major" update more than a sequel, which improves and polishes itself on each instance, in the end making it a different experience. CS: GO and previous games biggest achievements are improving flow and dynamics, which even though don't provide any change or innovation from the core game (which is why it distinguishes itself from the rest of the online FPS on the market) improves greatly the player experience. Note to people new to counter strike, you can jump to CS:GO without playing previous games. A game worth grabbing and giving a try for CS fans and new players.
